Gabion mesh (also known as stone cage mesh) is an ecological grid structure, by a variety of mesh specifications of the mesh in accordance with ASTMA975-97 specifications assembled into the project site filled stone assembly to form a flexible, permeable, overall support structure, often used in ecological protection engineering. The structure is made of high galvanized steel wire or 10% zinc-aluminum alloy steel wire through double strand weaving, and the length of the double strand stranding part can not be less than 45mm to ensure that the corrosion resistance of the strand part is not destroyed. If the environment is harsh and the pollution is serious, the surface of the steel wire can be coated with plastic (PVC) to enhance the corrosion resistance of the steel wire.
